Restless and irritable. Nothing is satisfying. Not that I've really tried anything, because I can't focus my attention on anything long enough. Yep, it's a manic episode. I don't think the weather is helping any. Usually, when the weather stirred me up, I could slip out, locking the door quietly, and wander out to the park. Or shoreline. Or just somewhere. Apparently I'm not allowed to do that now. Something about dying in a snow drift and not being discovered until the thaw. Whatevs.
In other news, it is really coming down. Nothing like the floaty fluffy stuff I posted about earlier. The air is full of grainy, icy, snow, separated from rain only by a few degrees. It quickly coats your hair, and melts on your face. The snow on the ground binds quickly and compactly, perfect for making snowmen or mini sno cones.
Anyway, I should go and lie in bed, on the off chance that I have to try and drive to work tomorrow.

Take it easy, hon. If you need to talk about anything, please call. You know that I can relate to what you are going through. *hug*

It's not too bad. I get irritable, and my productivity is for crap. Sometimes I can't sleep. But it's just frustrating, nothing worse. (:

No one said you couldn't go outside and walk around in the snow. I just said that you couldn't go without telling anyone you were going, and you couldn't go for very long at a time, because hypothermia is a bitch and the first thing it takes away from you is your sense of "omg, I'm too cold."

Telling me roughly which direction you're going to head in is a bonus, because it means that when you've been gone entirely too long and you're not responding to your cell phone, I can round up a posse to find you before you freeze.

I meant, more specifically, last night, when it was dark and there was a lot of newly fallen break-your-leg and visibility was bad. *I* didn't think it was a safe idea to go out in it, more than the usual slipping on the ice, or getting hit by a car, or whatnot.
