Feel like I've been run over by a truck. Stupid truck. I was clearly walking down the yellow stripe, not even in its lane. I hope Alex did not decide to share his yummy yummy influenza with me. Which then turns into bronchitis, and then I get pneumonia, and then I die, and then I go straight to Hell and find out that my bishop was totally wrong and it's like an all night disco dance Big American Party! Lots of fun, good time for all! I am having very good time! Who is driving? Oh my God, Bear is driving! How can that be???

Scottish film, with Trainspotting levels of foul language.
*What* is up with films telling me that they're "black comedies" only to forget the "comedy" part?
The funniest bit in this movie about a dead woman and her four children (including a wheelchair bound daughter whose battery dies a third of the way in) is a Billy Connolly tape playing in a van while the youngest son drives around making plans to kill the man who stabbed his brother.
Augh. And I'm probably going to spend the next twenty four hours cursing in a thick brogue.
Aside from being depressing and European, it was okay. Two wags. Well. Two fuckin' wags.

Updatey updatiness--inital plans were, as earlier stated, to have a new shift up yesterday. I think I can still do it by Monday, so only a week late. Besides overscheduling, I was also crawling my library for four playlists at once: Pop, Dance, and playlists for Tax Day and Beltaine.
Current standings:
Beltaine, 6.4 hours. Looks like about a month and two shifts starting around May Day.
Money, 2.6 hours. Probably one special shift in the middle of April.
Pop, 11.3 hours, which is about six weeks of material.
Dance, tentatively titled "Peppermintz/Girder" with a two-club theme, 19.6 hours. Which means I'll probably run it as a recurring theme on and off.
So, around 06 March I start Pop!, with artwork provided by Amanda Jones. I can probably run this for three shifts until sometime around 10-15 April when I run one or two weeks of Vitamin Cash. Then, depending on schedule, maybe two weeks of Peppermintz/Girder before May and Vitamin Maypole after that.
Here's the new poster! Feel free to plaster the streets with it! Your office! Your neighbor! Your dog! The policeman who asked you to stop postering your neighbor! )

Oh yeah, I forgot to include a link to the station page. Sooner or later, I'll get the hang of self-promotion.
