O DAMN

I just re-read "Young Bones Groan", the Ashworth Academy fanfic I wrote which deals with Bethany the wayward sociopathic spirit. And it just... DAMN it's good! I mean, not good objectively, but for-me good. The witty is all sparkling, I don't think there's anyplace where readers are rolling their eyes or going 'omigod get ON WITH IT already', and I think some of the characters have their own Voice. This is confirmation that I *can* write. ...Could. No, Can. It's not me looking back rosily at the past. I just haven't been very good at it the past... period of time. Guess I'll have to fix that.
