I think I need to read these books now... I have to admit I am very unread when it comes to the dangerous classics.

Everyone around me in Starbucks looked at me when I laughed rather loudly at the Kinsey Report being on there. Sex is always evil..unless you are Tamar who was lauded as being smart to trick Judah into impregnating her when he thought she was a prostitute and not his daughter-in-law.

We know that Freud was very dangerous because he advocated this concept that there was an unconscous and that it may have something to do with why we behave in ways that are counter to what we would like to. In reality we know that the unconscous must be SATAN right?

The Feminist Mystique, hum... shouldn't Ann Coulter be married and raising her kids at home? That is what all good Christian women do right?

Reading about Coming of Age in Somoa, it was really a blow to the conservative movement. It was posible to have sex and multiple partners without guilt. I don't know that her science could stand an examination by anyone out of high school, but I don't think that is the conservative's issue. I think they care more about the free sex, pro-masterbation, and pro-homosexuality stance from the book.

Reminds me that I have a cousin named Tamar who may be college age. I hope she's a smart cookie. I hope she doesn't plan to shag her way to the top. (I haven't seen her in years.)

Oh, and about Ann Coulter: don't you know that well-behaved women rarely make history? :-)
