To those of you who have had contact with me today, I apologize for my florid manner. I just realized that I've been reading 500 years After and it has strongly impacted my speech patterns. I have no excuse for my pretentious behavior.

And, apropos of nothing, Wah! TiVo did not watch the Daily Show with Fareed Zakariah! ):

So long as you enjoyed it. (: I still find it awkward to realize in hindsight. The painful aspect of growing up smart is that one is constantly reminded of the danger of 'being above one's self' or 'putting on airs'.
