Shit. Motherfucking shit. So I woke up about two hours ago and just now discovered that I'm missing a significant part of my chewing surface. The good news is that I'm not in pain yet. It's not a complete surprise--it's one of the teeth (well, half a one now) that the dentist started work on before when I could afford dentistry and didn't get finished before I was fired, and it's been a problem spot ever since.

EDIT: So if you dream about losing teeth, you're worried about money issues, according to the Universal Dream Interpreter stuff. So if you lose teeth, will you dream about money?

In other news: I work with monkeys. Also, if you give a man a fish he eats for a day. If you teach a man to fish he becomes annoyed that you're wasting his time and why don't you give him the motherfucking fish already because he's hungry god damnit.

So does Skywest not have dental insurance?

Having ignored teeth issues until they were a problem...I would strongly recommend putting off any major-but-unnecessary purchases and getting the dental work done. Living in constant mouth pain sucks like few things in this world do.

My fiance swears up and down from experience that the crazy people walking up and down the streets in major cities (Las Vegas) and the like are not cray, but have tooth pain that makes them crazy...

I guess I have been lucky so far that none of my teeth have decided to explode on me.

As I once heard my fiance say: "If you ignore them, they *WILL* go away."

I'm on Delta, but it covers like 40/60% of costs which still means a big chunk. Which is why I've been trying to pretend I don't have teeth. Because I know that as soon as I walk in they're going to tell me there's ten thousand dollars worth of work that needs to be done before I can even think of leaving the office oh and by the way you know that little sign all the dentist offices have that says "We expect to be paid up front" that I've never seen anywhere else?
Yeah. A little stressed. I'll be better in a while.
