Sep. 3rd, 2005 01:28 amI am at this moment flipping through channels and discovered ON AMC WHICH STANDS FOR 'AMERICAN MOVIE CLASSICS' this classic gem starring Nick Brendan--Pinata:Survival Island. It is about, I shit you not, an island cursed by a demon contained within a pinata.
So wrong. In so many ways.

Date: 2005-09-04 10:46 am (UTC)So I guess now they're just, like, Starz* but with commercials. And if Mountain View goes through with their plan to eliminate the analog cable service, we may end up with TCM after all. And SciFi network. (At last! I could see Mansquito!)
*Assuming Starz is still around. They were actually pretty cool. They were one of the first (only?) cable movie services to understand that we wanted to see things in WIDESCREEN DAMMIT. So they'd alternate showings between crop'n'chop and full size.
