When making a stew involving jalapenos and onions, after the prep work make certain to wash your hands, dip your hands in an autoclave, microwave your hands, and then scour your hands with steel wool.
And after that, still don't touch your eyes or scratch any bug bites.

Date: 2006-02-24 05:08 pm (UTC)So I bought mushrooms, a sweet potato... was that it? And the house mate said 'I have these jalapenos I'm not going to use--do you want them?' and then I stole an onion from the root cellar. I feel like I'm forgetting something here. Um. Oh! Slivered carrots, yeah, I bought some of those.
Anyway, it's a sort of a whatchagot stew except it involved much of it being bought at the store first. I probably should have braised the ribs a little longer first; it's a little greasy. But other than that, I think it went well.
