This fine gentleman is one of the reasons that I'm so proud to be a part of the poly sex-positive community here in the San Francisco area. In other news, I'm feeling sarcastic.

On a less sarcastic note, I'm ripping well into the T's in my CD collection, and am nearly through with The The (which I find far more interesting than Steeleye Span, which took me far too long to get through one CD); the phrase "Voidy Numbness" is currently my favorite collection of phoenemes. One would think that by age 57, he'd have a better grasp of spelling and grammar. Perhaps he should consider the possibility that it is these things, coupled with his overall attitude, that preclude his ability to get laid.

But wait; I'm one of those "fat" (yeah, right) women that he's ranting about, so my opinion is clearly null and void.

So, while clearly he's a loathsome creature and sexist to boot, one thing amuses me because of its hidden hypocracy (or something):

"I once was invited to a sex party for bears and people who wanted to have sex with them. imagine my dismay when i found out they meant fat hairy men. so i pigged out at the (excellent) buffet and left."

Now, I suspect I've never met this guy, but if he was invited to a sex party for bears and people who want to have sex with them, it's because he's a fat hairy man (or someone thought he'd want to have sex with one). In this light, his rant is less a shining example of some actual philosophy and just a big "I am so NOT a bear and so NOT interested in bears!" Yeah, whatever.

I suspect I showed my own cultural arrogance by discounting his opinion due to his spelling and grammar anyway.
