This fine gentleman is one of the reasons that I'm so proud to be a part of the poly sex-positive community here in the San Francisco area. In other news, I'm feeling sarcastic.

On a less sarcastic note, I'm ripping well into the T's in my CD collection, and am nearly through with The The (which I find far more interesting than Steeleye Span, which took me far too long to get through one CD); the phrase "Voidy Numbness" is currently my favorite collection of phoenemes. Thanks, Matt. (:

So, while clearly he's a loathsome creature and sexist to boot, one thing amuses me because of its hidden hypocracy (or something):

"I once was invited to a sex party for bears and people who wanted to have sex with them. imagine my dismay when i found out they meant fat hairy men. so i pigged out at the (excellent) buffet and left."

Now, I suspect I've never met this guy, but if he was invited to a sex party for bears and people who want to have sex with them, it's because he's a fat hairy man (or someone thought he'd want to have sex with one). In this light, his rant is less a shining example of some actual philosophy and just a big "I am so NOT a bear and so NOT interested in bears!" Yeah, whatever.

I suspect I showed my own cultural arrogance by discounting his opinion due to his spelling and grammar anyway.

Also, I don't know how to spell without a spellcheck, either, as my husband notes.

I am SO lame.

Yes, dear, but you *use* the spellcheck. Which puts you an order of magnitude above the avatar in your lameness. (:

(And, really, how many people really *need* to know how to spell 'hypocrisy', compared to words like 'enough'?)
