ME TOO!!! That's why I studied Aerospace Engineering for 3.5 years, and was half way to an appointment at the Airforce Academy before I realized I'm not really the military type. :D
What's even more bizarre is the possibility of doing some part time work for NASA Ames now. :D
I had figured out I wasn't astronaut material by the time I was in high school. (I had health problems that would have kept me earthbound even if I had the training.)
