Friday! I think. Yes! Yes, it's Friday. And that means questions! Yes, lovely precious questions. The ones you've been saving for a rainy day, the ones your grandmama left you and have been in the family for generations, the ones you found in a curio shop for only a dollar fifty and suspect that they're worth a fortune... all of them! Ask away! I demand questions!

I only half listened. They had gotten on to the subject of cooking in college dorms and, hence, ramen. The Head Master (see below) comes in and says that he ate the stuff raw as he never figured out how to cook it and walked out. I heard this as I was reading your Friday question call, so thus I sought out the Oracle.

I'm certain it was because all of his mental efforts were directed toward the pursuit of academe, and thus none could be spared for the subject of hot water and its effect on crunchy noodles. After all, he's not a science major.

Actually, I think he was. At least before becoming Headmaster, he was a science teacher.

Then I'm going to assume that he was embarrassed to admit that he prefers the crunchy once-cooked form, or his father told him girls don't like boys who act 'too smart' and he should focus on looking pretty.
