Wrap it up and swim in it until I drown
Feb. 21st, 2007 07:24 pmSo... according to this article, Appeals Court Judge Raymond Randolph says "Cuba -- not the United States -- has sovereignty over Guantanamo Bay."
I think that Fidel would be delighted to hear this news. I must be misunderstanding the ruling, because it's being lauded as a victory for the administration. Giving legal control of a US base to one of our longest, least enemific enemies would keep those terrorists from getting into a US court of law, but I'd think that a Cuban court of law would be far more sympathetic to them.
Lots of projects still not getting done, and I threw a couple of others on top of the bin while I was at it. But that TiVo certainly knows who's boss. And I watched GlenGary Glenn Ross again, which made me want to reread Speed the Play while watching Scarface.
EDIT:
Today I got spam with the subject "He So Karamazov". It's like Martin Lawrence read a book or something. I like it.
