Weird.

So I leave the house for work and drive Nauti, leaving at 0940 and arriving at 1000. About twenty minutes.
I leave the house for work on the bike, leaving at 0910 and arriving at 0935. About twenty-five minutes.
(The route is essentially the same--Middlefield to Castro, and then by auto down Central to Mary and then back up Evelyn to Berndardo, but by bike down Evelyn to Bernardo.)

Well, you are overshooting and backtracking with the car route, and as a bike, you're probably able to avoid the worst of the car traffic around Castro/Evelyn to go the direct route.

Yeah, but with the car route I'm also driving 50/55mph with fewer stop lights and cross-traffic.
Still, I'm hoping that this is a consistent occurrence.

One thing I will not miss is sitting at the Evelyn/Mary intersection on the way home for between five and ten minutes hoping to eventually make my left turn.
