Bits, and also bobs.
Aug. 19th, 2007 12:01 pmNot to name any names, but some of the kitchen-packing folks I worked with yesterday have dirty dirty minds.
I have three different kinds of crushes on the three MythBusters interns. But in today's episode, Kari is in pigtails and two-tone shoes.
I've been nursing comments about the latest Who Wants to Be a Superhero.
Wow. This episode's fifteen minute eSurance commercial was really painful. I mean, the other product placement stuff (The billboard on the roof, the gigantic SUVs, etc) make me wince, but... just beyond the pale.
And in the preview for the next episode, as soon as Stan whined about this being the first time he'd ever heard a superhero scream, my first thought was "Dude. Banshee? I also understand that Black Canary has some sort of scream power but I may be misremembering. I'm not a DC comics guy.
Also, Basura may be cute, but Aja out of costume is total arty geek hotness.
I don't know whether Stan's just reading a script, or if his moral judgement really is as spontaneously malleable as it seems. Either way, the boy bugs me more the longer I watch.
But I'm still watching.
There was something else I was going to say here, but I can't remember what.
I'd love to go to that gaming con, but I don't think I can justify the expense for just two games.
EDIT: So on Mythbusters they just were at the Steinhart Aquarium in San Francisco. I've never heard of this place, and am now very curious.
Especially literate spam last week--one day, the subject lines included quotes from Shakespeare, Austen and Wodehouse.
