No hope, but no harm

cyranoSaturday was NERO day, and I got to bring in a RP character finally. Yay! It was a lot of fun. I have plotlines to advance, and backstory to haunt me, and I get to hang out with people and meet them instead of just hitting them with a stick. (: And I saw my very first character sheet, an indication that I'm learning more about the system aspects of the game. Go me. Mei and Luc both attended as well; our NPC horde swells with talent and warm bodies!
And afterward we went to Graham's for a pool party, and we threw Tanya in because it was fun to watch her splash around and squawk. And Scott grabbed my ass. I feel accepted. I'd like to have more social activities with NERO people--most of them are very cool and I'd like to get to talk to them more and get to know them better.
As part of my more traumatic birthday present, Luc is taking me out driving this afternoon to practice for the test.
And tonight is dead raw fish night. Yay again. (:
