I was just opining to a friend how it felt like I had a hangover, and it logically followed that I was owed a night of drinking. And then I got to wondering if I had people on my friendslist who find the idea of a night of drinking attractive.

If it were just a night of nothing but drinking, partners would be superfluous. (: It's more the intention to alter yourself slightly through the course of the evening with alcohol while in the company of others.

And that would be a fine way to convolve cocktails and conversation. Perhaps the conversation concerns the cocktails themselves.
