It's rock and gold
Jun. 4th, 2010 12:57 amThe once and future housemate, because she has had to listen to me constantly complain about how computer role playing games have two too many words in the title, got me Dragons Age as an early birthday gift.
Perhaps also because she felt I had too much free time on my hands.
Because I'm already at the twenty-four hour mark on the game play clock, and despite wrestling with the interface at times I'm really enjoying it. I have no concrete evidence, but I get the impression that my game play actually does affect the story. The scenery is gorgeous, very LotR, and there is at least the beginnings of nuance in my dialogue choices. And I'm making sure that every time an NPC leaves the party, I take all their stuff before I lose control of their inventory. Because I'm a mercenary even if my character isn't.
(Me, a Grey Warden! Who'd have thought?)

More than dialogue choices, your in-game decisions can have ripple effects on other game choices, but mostly, what happens at the end. :) And since BioWare is about your decisions carrying forward...your decisions now might impact DA2. :)

This made me lol. At work. Whoops. :)

You really do need your beauty sleep before the big battle!
(I have comments, but now I must refrain :)
