Dragon Age--Denerim on a budget

cyranoMy second personal quest again resolves itself with me walking up to the antagonist and saying "Push off. I don't want to see you in town again," and then them pushing off. A bit anticlimactic, but whatever gets me in good with the girlfriend.
Wade and Herren are married, and it's adorable to watch them argue.
Sophia's Guard? Who's Sophia? Not the lich from Soldiers' Peak? Because she's all the way dead.
I finally pushed my luck and just killed Weylon, which led to the discovery of the real dead Weylon and a lead for the Sacred Urn somewhere in the western mountains.
Then I spent a lot of time wandering around Denerim. This was supposed to be a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Or at least The Big City, where stuff happened. There were supposed to be back alleys with thugs, and a bar with secret Grey Warden meetings (or traps for Grey Wardens)... Frankly, I was bored. Finally, I hit the gates to go to Orzammar or somewhere and discovered **the City Map**.
And then I gleefully went and killed all the bandits. I was on my way to the Big Boss's warehouse when I stumbled on a Revenant who kicked my ass up and down the street. Of course I hadn't saved since leaving the Market, so I'll have to go over that ground again later.

Date: 2010-09-07 06:11 pm (UTC)I've only dealt with him on one playthrough, but it didn't feel too terribly sullying, so he's fun from a "gotta do all the sidequests! Aaaahhh!" standpoint. :)
