I've just finished watching the thirteen episode run of Kings, and it's made me want to watch Deadwood and at the same time crack open the Old Testament again.

I'm very curious as to whether the Christian community embraced this series (sort of a weekly small screen "Last Temptation of Christ") or ignored it as another Hollywood perversion. Does anybody know?

Mmmmmm.

I cut four slices of sweet onion and laid them in the skillet after warming the pan. Then I rubbed the steak in black pepper and kosher salt. Once the onions were happily sizzling, I laid the meat on the onions and put a lid on it.

Then I sliced some nectarines and poured a little of that lime-salt-caramel sauce over the top.

And it was totally worth waiting until ten o'clock to eat dinner.
