Because the prof has the power, and doesn't want it to be hir fault. Alternately, it's because the prof lost your paper because you rammed hir car one night after class, sending it sliding off the road into an unmanned pump at a petrol station. While the prof was able to escape the wreckage essentially unharmed, the paper was in the back seat of the spunky little VW Scirocco when it caught flame and was incinerated. Actually, I like the second one much better. Forget the first one.
I hereby volunteer to be the filling, except that I'll probably eat the cake from the inside out before it can be presented. I love me some carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. =D
Sorry to disappoint cyranocyrano, but I'm more than happy to exchange filling privileges in exchange for dibs on some of the delicious, delicious cake and frosting. =D
If it's an antagonistic battle of wits, then I have to go with House because his misanthropy is so much better developed and he has that blood thirst and a genuine enjoyment of seeing somebody else suffer. If it's some sort of competition toward a shared goal, then I'm probably going to go with Holmes because he seems to have a greater drive toward achievement of goals. But isn't it always lupus?
Far from it. There's always going to be a place for a communication which includes tone of voice, mouthed sounds that don't really correspond to words, and even body language which is not strictly related to vocalized communication but tends to be linked.
So how many text messagers do you know who are willing to type out that whole thing? I'm betting that it's actually abbreviated to *sr*h or something like that.
The cheese fairies sprinkle it with magic cheese dust. And then they lay fairy eggs inside the curd so that they may continue to propagate. It's this cunning attack on reproductive strategy that makes cheese fairies one of the few sylvan lines who are not declining in numbers.
John Barrowman has no choice in the matter. He was cursed by a witch to be charming, sexy and a good singer. He often cries at night about the unfairness of it. And the only way the curse can be reversed is if he sleeps with me.
